ESG

Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance

Healthy Smiles Matter, especially beyond business

To endorse this, we support organisations and causes where we believe we could make the biggest impact, not only by providing financial and material support but also giving our employees a way to give back to the community.

GP has now evolved to Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG). These are edicts we practice all year round at GP as a matter of business routine.

Environment

All our factories are zero wastewater emissions facilities, with our factory in Malur repurposing this water for landscaping of our surrounding green space.

We have made a concerted effort to create green spaces at our facilities supported by our yearly planting of a tree on Earth Day.

Social

During the Covid-19 pandemic we wanted to help our essential workers which is why:

30,000 plus free meals were provided to the local police department during the lockdown. Meals were also provided to the Air Humanitarian Transit Home Doddagubbi Post, Bangalore.
1000s of sanitizers were distributed to – healthcare centres, police personnel, schools, public institutions and other organisations in need of these essential, first line of protection items.
Our long-term relationship and support for the government school at Nasigere is still in place, over the years it has seen several upgrades to make these places of learning more conducive to learning.

Corporate

We realise our staff are our biggest asset, which is why we cover all our employees and their families with welfare schemes and insurance beyond what is mandated by law
